WhatsApp service message calculator
What would paid support replies add to your bill?
Turn conversations and average reply count into a monthly cost scenario—especially useful for support teams, agencies and AI automation products.
Scenario inputs
Model your support-message exposure.
Important: This is a scenario model, not a confirmed October rate card. The preset uses the market's current utility reference rate; replace it with Meta's published service rate when available.
Why this tool exists
Support volume is measured in conversations. Billing exposure is measured in messages.
Recent community discussions show teams repeatedly multiplying customer conversations by a single rate and missing the number of outbound replies inside each chat. A support bot sending twelve answers creates a very different bill from an agent resolving the same case in two.
Meta's public pricing page should remain your source of truth. Use the custom rate field when a new rate card is published, and keep the free-share input for eligible entry-point windows or other waived traffic.

Questions teams ask before budgeting.
What is a WhatsApp service message?
A service message is a business reply sent inside the 24-hour customer-service window opened by a user's inbound message.
Why does the calculator ask for replies per conversation?
A per-message model makes a six-reply support conversation cost six times as much as a one-reply conversation before exemptions.
Is the October 2026 service rate confirmed?
Use this as a scenario model. The preset mirrors the selected market's utility reference rate, but you should replace it with Meta's published service rate when a final rate card is available.
